NY Times

New York Times News App for Android phones. A simple look with 9 headlines on the front page but if you use the drop down  menu you can choose from different subjects like: World, US, Technology and whatever else you like.
The font size is customizable and articles are propperly formatted so that you don't need to scroll left and right all the time.
Alltogether a nice app, the only downside is, that it crashes sometimes but I guess thats ok as it otherwise runs very smoothly and which app doesn't crash every now and then?

Open Sudoku

I think there is not much write about Sudoku, as we all know how it works. The big plus with open Sudoku is just that players can submit their own sudoku so that the games are continuesly updated and so there won't be any repeated games. Otherwise just a plain but yet very enjoyable game and good to spend some time if you have to wait somewhere.

Genial writing

Do you have enough from your android smartphone touchscreen keypad? then Genial writing could be the right thing for you. You can simply write with your fingers on the touchscreen of your phone. The pensize and colour are customizable and so are the notebook patterns so you can make different notebooks with each one a different look.
Very easy to handle and sometimes it is just convinient if you don't have to type all the time but can just make quickly some handwritten notes. You don't need to extra save as the app saves automatically everything you write down.
There is also a paid version available which include some aditional options like attaching pictures, twitter, facebook and some more but if you just want to make some notes the free version is more then enough.

Frozen Bubble

Frozen Bubble is one of the classical mobile phone games which of course looks so much better on a smartphone. Like in other bubble shooting games you simply have to shoot at the bubbles and destroy as many of them as possible before you loose the game.

The red stone

The red stone is a classical square shuffeling game, I know there are many of them in the market available but the Red stone is one of the best. Puzzle games are hard to describe but basically you have to move the blue stones in a way that the red stone can pass through an exit. Just try it out. I'm sure you'll love it if you like puzzle games.

Chomp SMS

If your build in messenger is not good enough for you then chomp sms is might be the perfect alternative for you if you are an sms addict. you can simply use chomp as an replacement for your built in system. Chomp got a lot of features like chat-style bubbles, contact pictures, quick reply, signatures, templates, blacklisting, lots of customization, themes and much more.
As extra feature you can buy chomp credits and send so cheaper text messages then from your provider. It won't be useful for you if you have lots of messages included in your contract but if you want to send messages abroad it can be very handy

Phonebook 2.0

If you love social networks then this app is made for you. It combines instant messaging, social network and streaming apps all in one. It got a nice interface which is highly customizable to the individual users need.
It is the perfect app if you want to centralize all your contacts and the informations about them. It informs you about new text messages, upcoming birthdays, recently made phone calls and also which of your contacts are currently online.
